TamaGO Week 12
We had problems with Vuforia not being what we wanted and now we’re running out of time. Decided to take the bull by its horns and start learning unity on my own.
Running into problem after problem.
Animator was used to play my animations but we had to use a seperate script to control the material change for the face to change! What a challenge!
A total redesign of what the feel should be like. Decided to move many things around to make sure the user could interact better and optimize gameplay, basically quality of life changes.
Total revamp, including the landing and loading pages.
And finally after the new SDK, Kudan AR, was implemented along with our new UI!
Here comes Scruffy!
TamaGO Week 11
It’s been 2 weeks so here’s an update from me!
3D models are up and running! Completely rigged, IK-ed and UV-ed!
Also used UVs to portray emotion by changing up their faces! Also, using the IK, I was able to make scruffy emote 3 states! Idle, Feeding(Happy, generally) and Angry.
Finally we can throw scruffy into the game world that Ryan has been building!
Exciting times!
TamaGO Week 9
Interactive Week 7
Singapore Nightfest, ended about just a month ago, featured many prominent artist from all around the globe presenting various beautiful projection mapping installations.
It kind of got me thinking of the possibilities of projection mapping. Guess I’ll try it out next semester!
Interactive Week 5
I think what the Health Promotion Board is doing is very smart. What they’re doing is intergrating old people to using technology for rewards and using technology that young people love to do something healthy with their lives.
It’s a simple idea. Get people to download the app, scan QR codes, distribute walking devices to track footsteps a day, reward people.
Fundamentally, the company knew what Singaporeans enjoy, rewards(monetary of course) and made full use of it.
TamaGO Proposal
Interactive Week 2
Something interesting that’s of local context and would be very familiar to all Singaporeans. Something so simple but beautiful.
Nothing similiar to what I’m planning to do but it’s still an inspiration.
